Common Document Types
- Automobile Titles: all parties must present picture ID. No third party witness needed.
- Simple Contracts or Agreements
- Pro-Se court documents.
- Any document that requires a notary stamp, certification, or acknowledgment.

This service is included in our pricing at no extra charge!
Acknowledgements & Jurats
- Acknowledgements: a notary’s main task is to verify the identity of the person(s) signing the document. The document may be signed before the signor appears before the notary, or in the notary’s presence. The signor does not have to agree with the content of the document. Common wording used on this type of document is “acknowledged before me…”
- Jurats: the notary is giving an oath by either affirmation or swearing. The signor is taking an oath or affirmation.The signor is confirming the truthfulness of what is in the document. The signor must audibly respond, as gestures and non-verbal nods are not sufficient. The document must be signed in the presence of the notary, not before. Common wording used on this type of document is “subscribed and sworn (or affirmed) before me…”
